Boombox Cranked Up
In a cozy, moody fall palette, memories of being a kid in the city come back through the textures and feelings. We have our boombox blaring at gritty "little park" where we pretend to be older than we are; looking up to the gruff teenagers who seem so much cooler than our kid selves. We choreograph dances to Janet Jackson and Salt-N-Pepa, jamming to the beats as if the world would be ours forever.
Boombox Cranked Up is a framed original acrylic painting on canvas that measures 21" tall, 17" wide, and 1.5" deep, framed in maplewood (20"h x 16"w unframed). It is varnished and signed on the front, as well as signed and dated on the back. Painting wraps around sides. Ready to hang.
Frame shown is a sample and not the actual frame. Frame included is a maplewood float frame with spacing on all sides between the work and the wood, allowing the painting to "float" and breathe. Photos can be supplied upon request.
