Original abstract painting inspired by the urban textures surrounding me as a child in the projects of South Boston. Warm, muted tones are spontaneously layered using intuition, scrapers, palette knife edges, deep vulnerability, and loads of dirty water for a rich lived-in feel. This work was exhibited in the Art Soup SCAA member group show in Old Town Newhall with the Santa Clarita Artists Association.
