Original abstract painting inspired by the urban textures surrounding me as a child in the projects of South Boston. Rich tones are spontaneously layered using intuition, scrapers, palette knife edges, deep vulnerability, and loads of dirty water for a rich lived-in feel. This work was debuted at the exhibit in my first sold-out show.
