So thrilled to have been interviewed recently for an article in ShoutOut SoCal magazine, “Why They Do What They Do”. Big scream energy! It was great to connect with Patrick Harris of Voyage Group to share my heart and story behind choosing an artist’s path. He reached out while I was showing at Jackalope Art Fair in Burbank this past December and I couldn’t be more proud and excited - such a cool opportunity and publication to be part of. I'm so thankful for the shoutout, this second chapter of life, and the support of my family and friends. The encouragement is fueling and undeniable. To connect with people who connect with smudges of your soul is pretty incredible and humbling. Read the full article here. It's such an honor to be recognized as an artist in this way. It takes big risk to walk away from a comfy job with steady income to journey into an unknown heart and soul adventure like art-making. All the bananas. Grateful to be seen in this way and lifted up by my crew, cheerleaders, and collectors. 🍌🖤 HEART SWOLL. I’ll be riding on this for awhile. “Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.” - Andy Warhol
