In 2014, Tobi began painting gritty textures on paper to relieve stress. What naturally came out were remnants of her childhood memories growing up in Boston. Textures she still loves today: cracked concrete, rusted steel, old buildings, billboards, peeling paint. GRIT. This is her ongoing expression of life in the city. This is THE INDUSTRIAL COLLECTION.
