The 12x12 Square Series began my journey into painting. These acrylic works on paper became the heart of it all...finding freedom and learning to let go.


One night of maniacal release back in 2014, when I simply found my bottom of despair, I finally expressed all I was holding onto. Each painting in the 45- work series is stand-alone and uniquely expresses an emotional burst of feelings. These are the OGs. The originals. Their common thread: freedom and massive exhale.
